Tom Yum Goong (Shrimp Soup)

2 Servings

Ingredients
 
10 Shrimp (Peel off shell)
2 Tbsp Fish Sauce
1 Tbsp Palm Sugar
2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
6 Tbsp Lemon Juice
5 Kaffir Lime Leaves
5 Pcs Sliced Galanga
5 Pcs Lemon Grass
1 1/2 Qt Chicken Stock
5 Pcs Tomato Sliced
5 Pcs Mushroom Cut Into Half
1/2 Pint Sliced Onion
3 Garlic Cloves
1-2 Sliced Thai Chilis
5 Pcs Red Bell Pepper Slices
1 Tsp Chili Paste
2 Chopped Green Onions
 
Cooking

1) Heat chicken stock on medium heat until boiling. Then add galanga, kaffir lime leaf, lemon grass and sliced onion.
2) Reduce heat to simmer and gently cook 5-10 minutes to blend the flavors.
3) Add shrimp, palm sugar, fish sauce, oyster sauce, tomato, chili paste, and Thai chili's for desired spice level .
4) Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
5) Turn off heat.
6) Add lemon juice.
7) Spoon into serving bowl and garnish with sliced bell peppers and green onion.
