May 2016 begins the fifth year our Stuart Asian Market has offered Asian cooking classes. The main theme is Thai cooking, with other Asian infused cuisine such as Vietnamese and Indian. A different class is offered each month. When the Chef's schedule permits, 2 classes may be offered each month. 
Each Thai cooking class is based on authentic traditional Thai food recipes used throughout Thailand. You will be taught proper techniques to prepare each Asian dish in a professional setting by a professional Thai Chef with 20 years' experience!           
Unlike what you experience watching a cooking video, classes offer more than learning to cook a dish. It's a relaxing afternoon meeting people with the same interest, making new friends, being able to ask questions, while learning how to tweak the dish enabling you to balance the ingredients to your desired flavor.

Asian Cooking Class Invitations
  
If you have not previously signed up to receive class notifications, sign up using the link below. This link is only used to sign up to our mailing list. It is not used to request attendance in a particular class. Each class is $25, includes ice tea.
                  
After signing up, you will receive an email  invitation for each class at 6 P.M. the same evening following the last completed class. Follow directions in that email to request attendance in that class.
Class size varies. Each class is filled in the order replies are received. The sooner you reply, the better chance you have of being included in the class.

If you have traveled extensively throughout Asia as we have, you soon realize the food can be different throughout the different regions of the countries, just as it is in the United States. Example, Thailand has 4 regions where you will find food that can be similar in nature, but different because of the herbs, spices, and cooking method. You will also find food not offered in all the regions of the country because of the influence in the regions on the food from Laos, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Vietnam, Burma, and India.
